talayot
A kind of Bronze Age megalith found on the islands of Minorca and Mallorca.
A talayot may be square, round, oval, or stepped in form, averaging 12–20 m in diameter and containing a massive central roof pillar.

Borrowed from Catalan talaiot, from talaia (“watchtower”), of Arabic origin.
