syncerebrum
The supraesophageal glanglia or brain of many invertebrates.
We have then, probably, three types of syncerebra and two types of archicerebra among existing Crustacea.
Where it comes from
From syn-, from Ancient Greek συν- (sun-, “together”) + Latin cerebrum (“brain”).
