spime
An object that could be remotely tracked through space and time.
Critically, from an environmental point of view, product disposal can be controlled because of the spime's history. Armed with the complete log of its birth and life, the spime can be destroyed, dismantled and recycled efficiently.
Where it comes from
Coined by Bruce Sterling in 2004, as a blend of space + time.
