kerygma
The proclamation of religious truths; core religious teaching; preaching.
Many who encounter Jung do so within the community of the spirit, and some look to the personal myth of C. G. Jung in MDR as a contemporary gospel that contains the kerygma of a new dispensation.
Where it comes from
From Ancient Greek κήρυγμα (kḗrugma, “proclamation, preaching”), from κηρύσσω (kērússō, “I proclaim, preach”), from κῆρυξ (kêrux, “herald”).
