jezve
A Turkish coffee-pot with a long handle.
As in many countries around the Mediterranean, coffee in Turkey is prepared in long-handled pots called jezve.
Where it comes from
Borrowed from Ottoman Turkish جزوه (Turkish cezve), from Arabic جَذْوَة (jaḏwa) or جِذْوَة (jiḏwa, “ember”).
