Cognate with Saterland Frisian iensuge (“to suck in, absorb”), West Frisian ynsûge (“to suck in”), Dutch inzuigen (“to suck in”), German Low German insugen (“to suck in, soak up”), German einsaugen (“suck in, absorb, soak up”), Swedish insuga (“to inhale, suck in, pick up”), Icelandic innsjúga (“to suck in”).
